A small business closed in our little downtown. I was neither sad nor relieved. It wasn't a shop I enjoyed or frequented. When I was walking by, I peeked into the window and saw something that made me giggle. I have no idea who did this. Maybe the sad business owner or a friend or an employee or someone who cleaned it. The outline didn't last long (I'm sure the realtor trying to rent the space wasn't pleased), but I preserved it with a picture.

Even on a wet day
My work squirrel friend stopped by the other morning. He was wet and hungry. I loved watching the food stick to his arms as he dug for his favorite bits.
Squirrels are often the best part of my morning at the office.

Not the real Easter
Easter isn't about bunnies and eggs, but they are a fun aspect of spring. I want to squish these bunnies.
Hopefully I will see some fluffy tails in the neighborhood soon. Until then, these pictures will have to tide me over.

A few warm days
As much as we dream about warm spring days, the truth is that they are infrequent. Their rarity makes them special and worth enjoying. We had a few gorgeous days and I couldn't help myself. I relished in the sunshine and even brought my indoor companion.
I didn't get as much reading done as I would have had I been inside, but it was worth the slight setback.
After some routine blood work, my doctor informed me that I am severely vitamin D3 deficient. This realization first scared me, but after some research - I am at peace with it. Turns out, if I spend 20 minutes a day with 40 percent of my body exposed, I will get enough vitamin D3.
Enjoying the sunshine because my body NEEDS it is a welcome diagnosis.
Here comes the sun...do do do do...
