so long...farewell...

For the past year and a half, DeAnna has been a shining star in our office. She is now off to college and will be greatly missed. 

Her last Friday was filled with mixed emotions... Thrilled that she is starting an incredible journey at Cornell. Missing her already. And Playing hard at the Brownstone Quarry.

After many wonderful, faithful years, our camera has died. Because we were leaving for our big trip, we had to purchase another one right away. Of course, we had to take test pictures to learn how to use it...

We took the day off to unpack, unwind, and rest before starting the week. One of our 'lazy day' plans was to take our new kite to the park. When we arrived, to our delight it was ConnectiKiters Kite Club day. We flew our little kite with the best of them. Until the storm rolled in.
